About the Test

Anaemia is a shortage of red blood cells and/or haemoglobin. It is a common cause of tiredness and can also lead to lack of energy, feeling faint, becoming easily breathless. This test will give information on several common causes of anaemia. It includes tests for iron levels including ferritin, a full blood count, vitamin B12 and folate (vitamin B9) levels.
