  • Beta HCG - detection of ectopic pregnancy
  • Coagulation factors - risk of blood clothes, monitoring known clotting disorders, assessment before procedures, postpartum haemorrhage risk.

It is more efficient and allows for comprehensive care and timely interventions to have a single test that assesses both beta-hCG and coagulation factors.

During the early stages of pregnancy, beta-hCG is frequently monitored. However, coagulation factors may also be tested depending on the woman's clinical history, symptoms, or predispositions. It is important to consult with a healthcare provider before making any medical decisions specific to an individual.

Our packages include tests for general health and wellness, as well as more specialized tests for conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and thyroid function. We also offer packages that include tests for sexual health, fertility, and food intolerance.

How do I book a blood test?

Booking a blood test is easy on our website. Simply select the package or individual test you're interested in, and follow the steps to schedule an appointment at our laboratory. You can also contact us directly if you have any questions or need assistance with booking.

What happens during a blood test?

During a blood test, a healthcare professional will take a sample of your blood using a needle and syringe. The sample will then be sent to our laboratory for analysis. Depending on the type of test you're having, results may be available within a few hours or a few days. Majority of the test results would be available within 24 hours.

Is there anything I need to do to prepare for a blood test?

Depending on the test you're having, there may be certain preparations you need to make beforehand. For example, you may need to fast for a certain period of time before the test. Fasting is required for diabetes, cholesterol and Hba1c and also for some specific more specific samples. We will provide you with specific instructions when you book your appointment.

How long do results take to come back?

The turnaround time for results depends on the type of test you're having. Some tests, such as our general health and wellness package, provide results within a few hours. Other tests, such as more specialized tests, may take a few days. We will provide you with an estimated turnaround time when you book your appointment.

How accurate are the tests?

Our tests are designed to be highly accurate and reliable. We use state-of-the-art equipment and techniques to ensure that our results are as accurate as possible. We would use the best laboratory for the specific samples required.

Can I use the results of my test for medical purposes?

Yes, you can use the results of your test for medical purposes. However, we recommend that you discuss the results with your healthcare provider to ensure that you receive appropriate care and treatment. We also have the option to book a doctor’s consultation before or after your test results.

Is my information kept confidential?

Yes, we take patient confidentiality very seriously. Your information will be kept confidential and will only be shared with healthcare professionals who need access to it for medical purposes.

Do you offer testing for Covid-19?

Yes we do with our partner London Covid Testing available at www.londoncovidtesting.com.
