Frequently Asked Questions
LondonBloodTests.uk is a website that offers a range of blood testing services, including package tests and individual tests. Our tests are performed in our state-of-the-art laboratory and are designed to provide accurate and reliable results. We act as an affiliate for London Medical Laboratory, Radnox, TDL and W1LABS. We will recommend the cheapest and best option for the desired service.

+ - Why should I get tested?
By getting tested, you’ll be able to determine if you have any conditions that need to be addressed. Getting tested can help you prevent and manage chronic diseases, detect health problems early, and keep track of your overall health.
+ - How does the actual test ordering process work?
Booking is easy! Simply pay a £35 deposit online to secure a scheduled spot that suits you best. Our online booking system is easy and convenient, our clients love it! You can also select from any of our packages or single tests, but if you are unsure just pay the deposit and we can agree on the tests when you are in the clinic.
+ - How and when do I pay for my lab tests?
After you arrive at one of our Blood Test London clinics, you will pay the full amount for your blood tests minus the £35 deposit paid online. Please note there is a £35 phlebotomy charge added to the bill.
+ - How do I receive my test results?
You will receive a report of your test results, which will be sent to you via email. If you would like a further report explanation of your test results, please book a consultation with one of our GMC registered doctors here.
+ - How much does it take until I receive the results?
For Biomarker tests, you should expect to receive the results within 60 minutes after sample extraction. For Blood tests and Sexual Health tests, you should expect to receive results within 24 hours.
+ - Are my test results confidential?
Yes. We will always maintain strict confidentiality regarding your test results and any personal information you provide.
+ - Is there anything specific I should be doing before my appointment?
For most blood tests a fasting sample is advisable. This does not apply to blood tests for STDs. If you are on any medication, please do let us know when booking your test so we can advise you properly.
+ - What if I receive abnormal values?
We want to make sure you have the information you need to take control of your health and lead a healthier life. Abnormalities should be considered an early warning, but do not necessarily mean you have an illness or disease. We strongly recommend you discuss the results with your doctor for evaluation, further testing and diagnosis.
+ - How does it work if I want a blood test from home?
A member of our trained staff can retrieve a sample from you in the comfort of your own home, for an additional fee.
+ - Do I need a doctor’s referral to use this service?
No, you can book your lab tests and do not require a doctor’s referral. Our goal is to empower you to be your health advocate. If you are unsure as to what test you should book, you are welcome to book a consultation with one of our GMC registered doctors beforehand.
+ - What are your opening times?
Our clinics are open 7 days a week with appointments from 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, bookable the same day or up to a week in advance.
+ - Will my health insurance pay for this?
We are currently unable to accept payment by health insurance, but we advise you to check with your insurer as some may reimburse you for the cost of your consultation or tests with us. Please check with them for details as they could accept the receipt and reimburse you.
+ - What if I need to change the time of my appointment?
You can change your appointment time, free of charge, up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. To do so, simply contact us at +44(0)203 4888463 or via email at info@bloodtestlondon.uk.
