1. Introduction
1.1 These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website [londonbloodtests.uk] (the “Website”) and your purchase of blood-test services (the “Services”) offered by London Blood Tests Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).
1.2 By booking an appointment via the Website or otherwise using our Services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with a booking.
2. Services & Booking
2.1 We provide private blood testing services, including sample collection, laboratory analysis, and delivery of results.
2.2 When you book an appointment you will be asked to select the test(s) you require, pay for the appointment in full at the time of booking (unless otherwise agreed) and attend at the designated clinic location and time.
2.3 All appointments are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or reschedule an appointment in the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., clinician illness, laboratory issues, force-majeure). If we cancel, we will notify you and offer you a full refund or an alternative appointment.
3. Payment & Refund Policy
3.1 Payment for all blood test appointments must be made in full at the time of booking, either via advance direct payment or through a finance option (if applicable).
3.2 Cooling-off Period: You are entitled to a full or partial refund for any unused blood test booking if you request the refund within 14 days of booking (“Cooling-Off Period”).
3.3 After the Cooling-Off Period has passed, refunds will only be considered for medical reasons (for example, if you become unwell and unable to attend).
3.4 If you have purchased a multiple-test package and part of the package has already been used, any refund will be calculated by deducting the individual list price of the tests already carried out (rather than the discounted package rate).
3.5 To request a refund you must contact our Customer Support team at [email protected]. Refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe once approved.
3.6 If we provide a refund, we will refund the payment using the same method as your original payment, unless otherwise agreed.
4. Cancellation / Rescheduling Policy
4.1 We understand that sometimes plans change, so our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both clients and our clinicians, while ensuring that appointment slots can be offered to other patients in need.
4.1.1 Cancellations more than 48 hours before your appointment
You will receive a full refund or you may elect to reschedule at no additional cost.
4.1.2 Cancellations within 48 hours of your appointment
A 50% cancellation fee will apply. Alternatively, you may reschedule once, without penalty, provided the new appointment is booked within 14 days of the original date.
4.1.3 Missed Appointments (No-show)
If you fail to attend without prior notice, no refund will be offered.
4.1.4 Exceptional Circumstances: We recognise that emergencies and unforeseen events occur. If you are unable to attend due to a genuine medical or personal emergency, please contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible. We will review your case on its merits and may offer a refund or alternative appointment at our discretion.
4.2 How to Cancel or Reschedule: Cancellations or requests to reschedule must be made by emailing [email protected] or by calling our clinic during working hours. Cancellations are only confirmed once you receive our reply.
5. Your Responsibilities
5.1 You must arrive on time for your appointment and comply with any pre-appointment instructions (for example fasting requirements, questionnaires).
5.2 You must inform us promptly of any changes to your contact details (address, email, telephone).
5.3 You must provide accurate information when booking and not rely solely on our tests for diagnosis or medical advice — you should consult your GP or appropriate clinician if you have concerns.
6. Our Liability
6.1 We will perform the Services with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with applicable professional standards.
6.2 To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss or damage arising from our Services or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for the appointment.
6.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, or for fraud or other liability which cannot be limited by law.
7. Data Protection & Privacy
7.1 We will process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy (available on the Website). By booking you consent to that processing.
7.2 We may share personal data with laboratories, clinicians and service providers as required to deliver the Services legally and professionally.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, images and software, is owned or licensed by us and protected by intellectual property laws.
8.2 You may view and print material from the Website for your personal, non-commercial use only.
9. Changes to Terms
9.1 We may revise these Terms from time to time. The version posted on the Website is the latest and governs your relationship with us from the date of booking.
9.2 If we make material changes to the Terms (for example changes to cancellation or refund policy), we will notify you via email or via a banner on the Website before your next booking.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any dispute.
