A Full Body Ultrasound Scan is a non-invasive imaging assessment that uses high-frequency sound waves to examine multiple organs and soft tissue structures throughout the body. It does not use ionising radiation and is considered extremely safe.
This scan typically includes assessment of the abdominal organs (liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, kidneys), urinary tract, thyroid and neck, major blood vessels, and selected soft tissue areas, depending on clinical needs. It provides real-time imaging and immediate clinical insight.
When performed at home using portable ultrasound equipment, it offers the same diagnostic value as clinic-based scans, with added convenience, comfort and privacy.
A Full Body Ultrasound Scan is recommended for individuals seeking a comprehensive health overview, early detection of potential issues, or investigation of multiple symptoms without undergoing multiple separate appointments.
You may benefit from a full body ultrasound scan if you:
Early imaging supports proactive healthcare and informed decision-making.
Home-Based Full Body Ultrasound Scan (UK-wide)
Important:
Full body ultrasound scans are provided exclusively as home-visit services. This service is available UK-wide, allowing you to access advanced diagnostic imaging without attending a clinic.
Results are interpreted based on organ size, structure, appearance and movement, rather than numerical values.

Where possible, attend your blood test between 7am and 12pm. Please wait until any short-term illness or infection has fully resolved before testing. Avoid intense exercise for 24–48 hours beforehand, as this can affect certain markers.
Fasting is not always required, but some tests may recommend it. If fasting is advised, avoid food for 8–12 hours before your appointment and drink water only. Stay well hydrated, as this helps with sample collection and accuracy.
Continue prescribed medications unless advised otherwise by your clinician. Avoid vitamin, mineral, or biotin supplements for at least 24–48 hours before your test, as these can interfere with results. If you are unsure about any medication or supplement, please let us know before your appointment.
For hormone-related tests, timing within your menstrual cycle may be important. If relevant, follow any specific guidance provided on your test page.
If you have any questions or special circumstances, our team is happy to advise before your appointment.
